A very good chance. 8 minutes into the game, one of Herräng BK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The audience was convinced that Dick Ahlström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hubert Johnsson was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. After 14 minutes, Samuel Smedfeldt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vetlanda and the Herräng BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hubert Johnsson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fredrik Högström showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 19 minute of play. A collision led to Herräng BK getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Henry Gustafsson hit a great ball. Rikard Hernström made in the 28th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Stig Palmkvist. Jens-Åke Säf might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karl-Erik Hjelm. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jens-Åke Säf ran back to his position shaking his head. With his leg Hubert Johnsson managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Herräng BK's Dick Ahlström fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fredrik Högström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Hubert Johnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Dick Ahlström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hubert Johnsson was relentless in the 37th minute of the game.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jens-Åke Säf to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dick Ahlström in the 53rd minute of play forced Vetlanda's goalkeeper Hubert Johnsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jens-Åke Säf hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Kenneth Kvick struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Hubert Johnsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Herräng BK. Hubert Johnsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dick Ahlström's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Kenneth Kvick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Hubert Johnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Dick Ahlström came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Herräng BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dick Ahlström couldn't finish the play. In the 68th minute, Dick Ahlström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Herräng BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 72ndth minute of the game Dick Ahlström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vetlanda's Hubert Johnsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Olof Petersson hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After 78 minutes, Fredrik Högström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Herräng BK and the Vetlanda players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Vetlanda booed when Herräng BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fredrik Högström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 82 minutes, Dick Ahlström made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Vetlanda's Hubert Johnsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dick Ahlström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Vetlanda getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Olof Petersson hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the game, Samuel Smedfeldt threw the ball into play from the sideline. Herräng BK's Kenneth Kvick quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. There was no doubt that Herräng BK were the better team. Herräng BK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
