The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kenny Eliasson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Christer Wennerqvist made a huge save. 15 minutes into the game, Kenny Eliasson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aneby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skellefteå FF the free kick. In the 16th match minute, Aneby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenny Eliasson to maneuver through the defense. Samuel Fanström took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mathias Kock. Mathias Kock dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Hellström in the 22nd minute of play forced Aneby's goalkeeper Mathias Kock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aneby's Mathias Kock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Hellström in the 24th minute of play. Emanuel Gudmundsson's late challenge caught a Skellefteå FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuel Gudmundsson helped the player get up and apologised. After 25 played minutes Aneby got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Gudmundsson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Fanström in the 27th minute of play forced Aneby's goalkeeper Mathias Kock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mathias Kock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Fanström in the 31st minute of the match. Bo Boklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Christer Wennerqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bo Rosin during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 35th match minute, Skellefteå FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bo Rosin to maneuver through the defense. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bo Boklund to make the kick off. Christer Wennerqvist came out of the goal and Kenny Eliasson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Samuel Fanström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mathias Kock was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. A collision led to Skellefteå FF getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Einar Kullgren hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, Bo Boklund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christer Wennerqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Boklund in the 68th minute of play forced Skellefteå FF's goalkeeper Christer Wennerqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 69 minutes, Bo Boklund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aneby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bo Boklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bengt-Arne Jakobsson kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Skellefteå FF's goal looked a bit too open when Bo Boklund came free, but Christer Wennerqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 83 minutes of play, Skellefteå FF's Vidar Öberg made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mathias Kock was left in no man's land by his defense there! Christer Wennerqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bo Boklund in the 90th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bengt-Arne Jakobsson during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 91 played minutes Skellefteå FF got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Arne Jakobsson. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by Skellefteå FF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Verner Bruse was slow to take the kick. During this time Aneby's players had a chance to rest. Aneby's Emanuel Gudmundsson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Christer Wennerqvist in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Skellefteå FF's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
