After a rather tough play, Aneby's Villiam Kjellberg got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Simon Blomqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Mathias Kock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Boklund in the 19th minute of play forced Backe BK's goalkeeper Edgar Vollander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Nils-Åke Nordin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Backe BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aneby the free kick. In the 24th minute Kenny Eliasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Vollander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aneby's Kenny Eliasson got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, Nicklas Sundén had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mathias Kock. Aneby's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicklas Sundén was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bo Boklund to strike the kick off in the second half. Kenny Eliasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute Bo Boklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Vollander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nicklas Sundén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicklas Sundén struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Mathias Kock didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Backe BK. After 68 played minutes Backe BK got a freekick which was hit by Nicklas Sundén. If Kenny Eliasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 70 played minutes Backe BK got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Åke Nordin. Simon Blomqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mathias Kock. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Simon Blomqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. Bo Boklund struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Edgar Vollander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aneby. Aneby's Kenny Eliasson got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edgar Vollander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bo Boklund in the 80th minute of play. Kenny Eliasson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Edgar Vollander firmly grabbed it by the left post. Nicklas Sundén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Mathias Kock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Backe BK's Edgar Vollander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo Boklund in the 93rd minute of play. Kenny Eliasson was extremely unlucky when he, in the 96th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Backe BK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Aneby had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
