After a defensive mix-up in Vasastan BK's zone, Kenneth Kvick stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Örjan Nordström came out of the goal and Kenneth Kvick tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kenneth Kvick struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Örjan Nordström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Herräng BK. Dick Ahlström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Örjan Nordström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Örjan Nordström came out of the goal and Dick Ahlström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Herräng BK's Dick Ahlström got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 19 minutes, Dick Ahlström made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Vasastan BK's Örjan Nordström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Karl-Erik Hjelm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olof Bammerman in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th match minute, Herräng BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernt Odén to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 29 in the game by Dick Ahlström from a close distance when the talented Örjan Nordström managed to make a qualified save. Vasastan BK's players were relieved. Herräng BK's Dick Ahlström was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 32nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Dick Ahlström in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Örjan Nordström, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 41st minute, Kenneth Kvick got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dick Ahlström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Örjan Nordström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Vasastan BK getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Thor Fastesson hit a great ball. Dick Ahlström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dick Ahlström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Herräng BK's attentive Fredrik Högström managed to snatch the ball when Niklas Stenqvist made a throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game. 54 minutes into the match, Fredrik Högström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Örjan Nordström. Vasastan BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fredrik Högström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 58th minute, Kenneth Kvick ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Örjan Nordström was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After 62 minutes of play, Herräng BK's Dick Ahlström made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Örjan Nordström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Örjan Nordström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dick Ahlström in the 67th minute of the match. When Herräng BK's Dick Ahlström in 69 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Örjan Nordström guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 70th minute, Fredrik Högström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dick Ahlström in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Örjan Nordström saved Vasastan BK from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Dick Ahlström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Herräng BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Dick Ahlström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Örjan Nordström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Örjan Nordström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dick Ahlström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Örjan Nordström came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Herräng BK's Dick Ahlström. But to his dismay, Dick Ahlström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Örjan Nordström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dick Ahlström, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 95thth minute of the game Dick Ahlström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vasastan BK's Örjan Nordström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Herräng BK had played much better football throughout.
