Spectators: 6678 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 0) Backe BK's Nicklas Sundén started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Otto Widberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Simon Blomqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Hubert Johnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Otto Widberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Tom Alefors hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 30 minutes, Nicklas Sundén managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Backe BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicklas Sundén was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicklas Sundén recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Vetlanda's Jens-Åke Säf sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgar Vollander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Nicklas Sundén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Vetlanda booed when Backe BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johnny Hedvall didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rikard Hernström got free with Edgar Vollander in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Simon Blomqvist fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Backe BK's protests and gave Simon Blomqvist a yellow card for diving instead. Simon Blomqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Otto Widberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Edgar Vollander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Nicklas Sundén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Simon Blomqvist fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hubert Johnsson, passed just outside the right post. Simon Blomqvist in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hubert Johnsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Vetlanda's zone, Nicklas Sundén stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hubert Johnsson came out of the goal and Nicklas Sundén tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jens-Åke Säf blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edgar Vollander having to make a save. When Jens-Åke Säf came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Vetlanda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jens-Åke Säf couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Backe BK's zone, Otto Widberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Vollander came out of the goal and Otto Widberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tom Alefors kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Backe BK were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Vetlanda's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Johnny Hedvall took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Johnny Hedvall got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hubert Johnsson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Simon Blomqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 93 minutes of play, Backe BK's Simon Blomqvist made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hubert Johnsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vetlanda's Jens-Åke Säf got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
