The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kenneth Wallengren who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Kennet Lång when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ronny Hydén hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Kennet Lång showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Björn Fagrell, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Björn Fagrell in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kennet Lång saved Marstrand FC from getting behind. Kennet Lång showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Björn Fagrell, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. A collision led to Oxie getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Pål Sigfridsson hit a great ball. The audience held their breath when Valdemar Palmkvist in the 22nd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Isak Billock's left hand side. Claes Sandell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kenneth Wallengren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Kennet Lång made a huge save. Björn Fagrell charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Björn Fagrell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Marstrand FC booed when Oxie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Björn Fagrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenneth Wallengren in the 63rd minute of play forced Marstrand FC's goalkeeper Kennet Lång to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Björn Fagrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kennet Lång having to interfere. Kenneth Wallengren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gustav Koch kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Björn Fagrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Oxie fully deserved thier win.
