The havetspojkar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Morgan Strömberg should have stopped the shot. Ingvar Wennerqvist hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Bengt Thorsberg succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 63rd playminute. 66 minutes into the game, Carl Björk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
