Björn Norberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jimmy Knutsson. Sommen BF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With an all-out effort, havetspojkar's Jimmy Knutsson threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vilhelm Simonsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 23rdth minute of the game Vilhelm Simonsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sommen BF's Jimmy Knutsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vilhelm Simonsson in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jimmy Knutsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bengt Thorsberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vilhelm Simonsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Jimmy Knutsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd match minute, havetspojkar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åke Sjögren to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christoffer Wallander stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, havetspojkar's goal looked a bit too open when Christoffer Wallander came free, but Morgan Strömberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Morgan Strömberg. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. havetspojkar had won after a very even match.
