Reine Carlsson hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Mantorp's Stig-Ove Colin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reine Carlsson in the 9th minute of play. The supporters of Mantorp booed when Wolffpack was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Algot Skålberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Bengt-Rune Kristiansson, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 14 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Olle Hellqvist was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Douglas Salqvist fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mantorp's protests and gave Douglas Salqvist a yellow card for diving instead. A hard shot 17 in the game by Algot Skålberg from a close distance when the talented Stig-Ove Colin managed to make a qualified save. Mantorp's players were relieved. In the 19th minute Reine Carlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig-Ove Colin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reine Carlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 25 played minutes Wolffpack got a freekick which was hit by Eskil Rudqvist. Bengt-Rune Kristiansson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Olle Hellqvist having to make a save. Bengt-Rune Kristiansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Bengt-Rune Kristiansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mantorp's supporters rose to their feet, but Bengt-Rune Kristiansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olle Hellqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Douglas Salqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Olle Hellqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Wolffpack's zone, Bengt-Rune Kristiansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olle Hellqvist came out of the goal and Bengt-Rune Kristiansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bengt-Rune Kristiansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olle Hellqvist having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Bernt Kjellbom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Mantorp's David Larsson in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wolffpack's goalie prevented a goal. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wolffpack's goalkeeper Olle Hellqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bengt-Rune Kristiansson to make the kick off. Fredric Malm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olle Hellqvist having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adam Kalfhage during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bengt-Rune Kristiansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 81 played minutes Wolffpack got a freekick which was hit by Bernt Kjellbom. Olle Hellqvist made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Bengt-Rune Kristiansson sent off a good shot on target. Linus Rudberg charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Linus Rudberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Wolffpack getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Linus Rudberg hit a great ball. Reine Carlsson scored 1-2 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stig-Ove Colin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
