The tension between the Djurgårdens IF and the Bromölla FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th minute, Fredric Beckström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peder Grelsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sven Björkman having to make a save. Bromölla FK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
