Joel Allbom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 19 minutes into the game, when Edvin Skålberg put in a rough tackle. 18 minutes into the game, one of Föllinge:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Föllinge's Joel Allbom got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute, Malcolm Benet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 44 played minutes, Klövedal's Jan-Olof Kilstedt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Magnus Brogren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Klövedal reached it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 54th minute, Richard Björklund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Magnus Brogren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malcolm Benet, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Magnus Brogren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malcolm Benet in the 58th minute of play. Richard Björklund's late challenge caught a Föllinge's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustaf Nyqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Allbom in the 64th minute of play. Richard Björklund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Magnus Brogren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Richard Björklund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Malcolm Benet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Magnus Brogren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mats Klint had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Richard Björklunds short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Magnus Brogren to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hannes Carlsson kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Föllinge's zone, Richard Björklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Magnus Brogren came out of the goal and Richard Björklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
