Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Helge Ugla took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd minute, Hannes Bagge reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dick Mellbad. The goal made the score 1-0. Eddie Boberg scored 2-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dick Mellbad, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 13th minute, Näshulta BF's Eddie Boberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. In the 21st minute Helge Ugla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kåre Bokelund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dick Mellbad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eddie Boberg's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Helge Ugla struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Kåre Bokelund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sandarne FF. When August Spetz fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sandarne FF's protests and gave August Spetz a yellow card for diving instead. August Spetz hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Hannes Bagge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Sandarne FF defense, Eddie Boberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dick Mellbad. The Sandarne FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dick Mellbad should have stopped the shot. Eddie Boberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Dick Mellbad made a huge save. In the 38th minute, Näshulta BF's Greger Ahlstedt dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. 41 minutes into the match, Sandarne FF's goalkeeper Dick Mellbad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eddie Boberg. After a rather tough play, Sandarne FF's Jesper Hääger got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The audience was convinced that Hannes Bagge's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dick Mellbad was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. 47 minutes into the match, Greger Ahlstedt dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dick Mellbad, 6-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hannes Bagge made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Sandarne FF's zone, Eddie Boberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dick Mellbad came out of the goal and Eddie Boberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Greger Ahlstedt came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Näshulta BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Greger Ahlstedt couldn't finish the play. Dick Mellbad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eddie Boberg's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Dick Mellbad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Greger Ahlstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Dick Mellbad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eddie Boberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Allan Svartengren hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Sandarne FF's Dick Mellbad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hannes Bagge in the 65th minute of play. Dick Mellbad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddie Boberg in the 67th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hannes Bagge in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dick Mellbad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Agne Askberg charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agne Askberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 76th minute, Agne Askberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hannes Bagge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dick Mellbad having to interfere. In the 83rd minute Hannes Bagge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dick Mellbad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Allan Svartengren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dick Mellbad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddie Boberg in the 87th minute of play. Dick Mellbad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hannes Bagge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the game, Näshulta BF's Greger Ahlstedt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dick Mellbad made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. If Eddie Boberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Näshulta BF were the better team. Näshulta BF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
