Karl-Ove Hedvall came free with the goalkeeper in the 11th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kåre Bokelund could save by the left post. If Eddie Boberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicklas Bengtsson charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicklas Bengtsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jakob Rydelius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hannes Bagge, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Näshulta BF's Eddie Boberg got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Eddie Boberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 31st minute, Karl-Ove Hedvall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kåre Bokelund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niklas Lundgren in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Niklas Lundgren fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After having played for 43 minutes, Eddie Boberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Näshulta BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eddie Boberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Karl-Ove Hedvall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Hannes Bagge made the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Näshulta BF got a freekick which was hit by Magne Wickander. In the 57th minute, Eddie Boberg made a precise shot to the right of Jakob Rydelius. Brännö BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Hannes Bagge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jakob Rydelius having to interfere. After 67 played minutes Näshulta BF got a freekick which was hit by Eric Brogren. Timmy Hansson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 68th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 69th match minute, Näshulta BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdemar Benet to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Brännö BK's zone, Hannes Bagge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jakob Rydelius came out of the goal and Hannes Bagge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 78th minute of the game. One of Brännö BK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Näshulta BF:s goal. Jakob Rydelius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hannes Bagge, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. If Niklas Lundgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hannes Bagge came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Näshulta BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hannes Bagge couldn't finish the play. Jakob Rydelius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hannes Bagge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jakob Rydelius was a little too slow when Hannes Bagge got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 0-3. The Näshulta BF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Näshulta BF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
