The audience held their breath when Rickard Hägglund in the 60th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Hugo Ståhlman's left hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bo Molander got free with Melker Grubb in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Dirty Ds Idrottsförening defense, Bo Molander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melker Grubb. The Dirty Ds Idrottsförening fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melker Grubb should have stopped the shot. Erland Hellkvist hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ivar Billvall the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Dirty Ds Idrottsförening protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ivar Billvall had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Dirty Ds Idrottsförening's Melker Grubb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erland Hellkvist in the 92nd minute of play. Erland Hellkvist received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Melker Grubb came out and tried to block the shot, but Erland Hellkvist slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 96th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ölsremma eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
