Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Harry Lekberg got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Olle Grelsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 7 minutes into the match, Hallstahammar's goal looked a bit too open when Olle Grelsson came free, but Wiktor Bock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute Olle Grelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wiktor Bock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Eskil Ahlqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfred Olofsson struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Wiktor Bock didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Åstorp. Olle Grelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Åstorp's Gilbert Sörman got a free kick in the 16th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Åstorp's zone, Harry Lekberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilbert Göransson came out of the goal and Harry Lekberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olle Grelsson in the 21st minute of play forced Hallstahammar's goalkeeper Wiktor Bock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 22 minutes, Rune Gunnarsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Åstorp and the Hallstahammar players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gilbert Göransson came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Hallstahammar's Harry Lekberg. But to his dismay, Harry Lekberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Olle Grelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åstorp's supporters rose to their feet, but Olle Grelsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wiktor Bock breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Olle Grelsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wiktor Bock. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olle Grelsson ran back to his position shaking his head. If Emil Soned had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harry Lekberg kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Emil Soned might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wiktor Bock. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emil Soned ran back to his position shaking his head. Wiktor Bock didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 42nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emil Soned stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Emil Soned shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wiktor Bock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wiktor Bock didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emil Soned went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 59 minutes into the match, Hallstahammar's goal looked a bit too open when Olle Grelsson came free, but Wiktor Bock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilbert Göransson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Uno Beneth in the 63rd minute. The referee ignored Hallstahammar's protests and gave Stig-Ove Bäckman a yellow card for diving instead. After 71 played minutes Hallstahammar got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Ove Bäckman. Emil Soned took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wiktor Bock. Wiktor Bock dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Emil Soned received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Wiktor Bock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wiktor Bock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olle Grelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute.
