The crowd rose to their feet as Åstorp's Olle Grelsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Börge Ivarsson. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. In the 7th minute, Emil Soned fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Emil Soneds short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Börge Ivarsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Emil Soned blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Börge Ivarsson having to make a save. Olle Grelsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Börge Ivarsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Olle Grelsson slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 15th minute. The audience was convinced that Olle Grelsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Börge Ivarsson was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Olle Grelsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Börge Ivarsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Olle Grelsson slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 23rd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Emil Soned could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Börge Ivarsson however easily saved by the left post. Emil Soned fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Börge Ivarsson having to interfere. A hard shot 32 in the game by Emil Soned from a close distance when the talented Börge Ivarsson managed to make a qualified save. Färingtofta IK's players were relieved. In the 35th minute, Emil Soned made a precise shot to the right of Börge Ivarsson. Färingtofta IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. After 37 played minutes Färingtofta IK got a freekick which was hit by Christopher Björkdahl. Färingtofta IK's Börge Ivarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olle Grelsson in the 43rd minute of play.

When Åstorp's Olle Grelsson in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Färingtofta IK's goalie prevented a goal. Börge Ivarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olle Grelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Börge Ivarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olle Grelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Åstorp's Emil Soned got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Börge Ivarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Soned in the 82nd minute of the match. If Olle Grelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Färingtofta IK's goalkeeper Börge Ivarsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 88 minutes into the match, Olle Grelsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Börge Ivarsson. Färingtofta IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olle Grelsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Åstorp had played much better football throughout.
