Färingtofta IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hubert Deckbergh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hubert Deckbergh in the 13th minute of play forced Rude dawgs FC's goalkeeper Martin Vollander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 14 minutes, Pelle Ekman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Färingtofta IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pelle Ekman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th minute, Hjalmar Billberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rude dawgs FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Börge Ivarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Jönsson in the 21st minute of the match. Hjalmar Billberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfred Jönsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Börge Ivarsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Börge Ivarsson came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Rude dawgs FC's Alfred Jönsson. But to his dismay, Alfred Jönsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Färingtofta IK's Börge Ivarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils Grönberg in the 31st minute of play. Rude dawgs FC were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Färingtofta IK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mikael Berggren took the corner. Johan Strand made a great header on Rude dawgs FC's corner, it was just that Färingtofta IK's Börge Ivarsson managed to reach the ball for a save. Hjalmar Billberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 40 minutes of play, Rude dawgs FC's Alfred Jönsson made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Börge Ivarsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pelle Ekman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Färingtofta IK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Alfred Jönsson 62 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. With a little luck, Färingtofta IK's Börge Ivarsson got control of the ball when Hjalmar Billberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Alfred Jönsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Börge Ivarsson was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 84th minute, but Börge Ivarsson got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Färingtofta IK hanging dry this time. When Alfred Jönsson came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Rude dawgs FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfred Jönsson couldn't finish the play. 95 minutes into the game, Hubert Deckbergh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Färingtofta IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rude dawgs FC the free kick. A collision led to Färingtofta IK getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Hubert Deckbergh hit a great ball.
