Åstorp's Gilbert Göransson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Åstorp from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Emil Soned managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åstorp's supporters rose to their feet, but Emil Soned was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Birger Göransson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Olle Grelsson scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Birger Göransson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Åstorp's Emil Soned got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Birger Göransson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olle Grelsson in the 35th minute of play. Claes Fransson's late challenge caught a Åstorp's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claes Fransson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st minute, Ivar Hybbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olle Grelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birger Göransson having to interfere. Birger Göransson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Soned, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th match minute, Billinge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claes Fransson to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ivar Hybbert to make the kick off. Åstorp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olle Grelsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emil Soned received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Birger Göransson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olle Grelsson in the 58th minute of play forced Billinge's goalkeeper Birger Göransson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute of the match Åstorp got a corner. Billinge's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alfred Olofsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alfred Olofsson made a great header on Åstorp's corner, it was just that Billinge's Birger Göransson managed to reach the ball for a save. Birger Göransson came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Åstorp's Emil Soned. But to his dismay, Emil Soned quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to Billinge getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Claes Fransson hit a great ball. Olle Grelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Birger Göransson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Billinge's Birger Göransson got control of the ball when Emil Soned tried to sneak it across the goal line. Åstorp's Brian Sundin got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olle Grelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Billinge's Birger Göransson got control of the ball when Emil Soned tried to sneak it across the goal line. Claes Fransson kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Birger Göransson made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Emil Soned sent off a good shot on target.
