When Jan Lindström fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Norrahammar's protests and gave Jan Lindström a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FC Norrahammar's Jan Lindström got a free kick in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by August Walroth in the 43rd minute of play forced FC Norrahammar's goalkeeper Robert Vestlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Crazy 88's Sigvard Svensson got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th match minute, FC Norrahammar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pål Kalfhage to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute Mathias Aleberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Vestlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FC Norrahammar booed when The Crazy 88 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alf Sundström didn't get a good kick on the ball. August Walroth scored 1-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robert Vestlund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. August Walroth's late challenge caught a FC Norrahammar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pål Kalfhage kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Isak Hellqvist was a little too slow when Evert Levander got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 1-3. FC Norrahammar's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
