John Lindqvist struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Kristoffer Alebeck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC JoeEriS. If Sune Olofsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 21 played minutes Segersta got a freekick which was hit by Niklas Söderlund. After recieving a nice pass, FC JoeEriS's Erik Martinsson tried to score from far away in the 21st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Segersta's Emil Lundström got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Erik Martinsson came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kristoffer Alebeck could save by the left post. Sune Olofsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristoffer Alebeck having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Birger Holmstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Segersta's supporters rose to their feet, but Birger Holmstedt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sune Olofsson was the one to do the kick off. FC JoeEriS's John Lindqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 54 minutes of play Segersta's Niklas Söderlund was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 55th match minute, Segersta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niklas Söderlund to maneuver through the defense. If John Lindqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Birger Holmstedt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Johan Carlsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 63 minutes, Birger Holmstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Segersta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Birger Holmstedt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 64 minutes in the game, Walter Holmberg fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Johan Carlsson having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Segersta's zone, Gunnar Åkerström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristoffer Alebeck came out of the goal and Gunnar Åkerström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kristoffer Alebeck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Lindqvist in the 72nd minute of play. Johan Carlsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Segersta's Arvid Eklund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Johan Carlsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arvid Eklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johan Carlsson having to interfere.
