Gunnar Åkerström hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 6 minutes into the match, Redline BK's Edvin Ahlerot broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 10th minute, one of FC JoeEriS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC JoeEriS. David Spets's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Johan Carlsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Sune Olofsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jörgen Kielberg. The goal made the score 1-0. Jörgen Kielberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sune Olofsson in the 22nd minute of play. In the 30th minute Rune Knutsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johan Carlsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Spets scored 2-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Johan Carlsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when David Spets made the kick off in the second half. Jimmie Samuelsson's late challenge caught a Redline BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jimmie Samuelsson helped the player get up and apologised. Samuel Karlsson tried to clear up in front of Johan Carlsson but instead he got an unlucky hit on the ball which made it go via the left pole into goal meaning 2-2 in the 53rd matchminute. A very disappointing self made goal. Johan Carlsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Spets's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Sune Olofsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC JoeEriS's supporters rose to their feet, but Sune Olofsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jörgen Kielberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd minute John Lindqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörgen Kielberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If John Lindqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC JoeEriS's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
