The audience held their breath when Sebastian Lidberg in the 18th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Mårten Johansson's left hand side. The referee ignored Sköllersta BK's protests and gave Edwin Haegg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th minute there was a penalty for Toltorp Pirates. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kurt Olsson was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Lindqvist in the 52nd minute of play forced Sköllersta BK's goalkeeper Torsten Blom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mårten Johansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc Vikström in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Toltorp Pirates's goal looked a bit too open when Elliott Wikander came free, but Mårten Johansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Oliver Alfors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elliott Wikander got free with Mårten Johansson in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Torsten Blom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kent Lindqvist in the 77th minute of the match. Sköllersta BK's Oliver Alfors got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elliott Wikander who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Mårten Johansson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 87 played minutes Sköllersta BK got a freekick which was hit by Bertil Öberg. Marc Vikström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Toltorp Pirates players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
