Greger Askelöf who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Karl-Ove Termander when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mark Hjälm during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ringarum IF's Mark Hjälm got a free kick in the 15th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Mark Levander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ringarum IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kholmcity the free kick. In the 19th minute, Mark Levander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute, Jan-Olof Busk made a precise shot to the right of Karl-Ove Termander. Kholmcity's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Karl-Ove Termander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Molin, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Kholmcity's goalkeeper Karl-Ove Termander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Greger Askelöf. Karl-Ove Termander yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kholmcity's goalkeeper Karl-Ove Termander, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adam Molin made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Greger Askelöf in the 52nd minute of play forced Kholmcity's goalkeeper Karl-Ove Termander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kholmcity were furious when Evert Torsberg was red carded, 55 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of Kholmcity:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ringarum IF:s goal. The audience was convinced that Adam Molin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl-Ove Termander was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. In the 64th match minute, Kholmcity was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olof Sundin to maneuver through the defense. Karl-Ove Termander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wictor Dahlgren in the 95th minute of the match.
