Trelleborg's Oliver Josefsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Jakobsson in the 44th minute of play. Emanuel Vikström struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Oliver Josefsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Di blåe. After the first half Di blåe were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ola Högberg to make the kick off. Douglas Jakobsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Di blåe's Bertil Beckeman got a free kick in the 58th minute. Douglas Jakobsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Oliver Josefsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Emanuel Vikström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 65 played minutes Trelleborg got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Nykvist. After 67 played minutes Trelleborg got a freekick which was hit by Anders Bergman. Jesper Gudmundsson made in the 72nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ola Högberg immediately put the ball in play. Gösta Gunnarsson kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Douglas Jakobsson in the 78th managed to get into a good position.
