Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Malcolm Nordstedt took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Borrby getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Sven-Olof Granberg hit a great ball. In the 7th minute Malcolm Nordstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Björn Utter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Mellbystrand's Sebastian Löfgren got control of the ball when Emanuel Kjellkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Per-Åke Ahlgren in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastian Löfgren saved Mellbystrand from getting behind. 18 minutes into the match, Mellbystrand's goalkeeper Sebastian Löfgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Kjellkvist. Malcolm Nordstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Björn Utter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Borrby's Per-Åke Ahlgren ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sebastian Löfgren. Sebastian Löfgren yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Mellbystrand's Sebastian Löfgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Åke Ahlgren in the 32nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Borrby's goal looked a bit too open when Malcolm Nordstedt came free, but Björn Utter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of Mellbystrand:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Borrby:s goal. Ola Fagrell walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Per-Åke Ahlgren to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Mellbystrand's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Åke Ahlgren came free, but Sebastian Löfgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Borrby's Per-Åke Ahlgren got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Emanuel Arvidsson fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borrby's protests and gave Emanuel Arvidsson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Borrby getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Emanuel Arvidsson hit a great ball. Sebastian Löfgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Åke Ahlgren in the 68th minute of the match. When Ulrik Berggren fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mellbystrand's protests and gave Ulrik Berggren a yellow card for diving instead. Ulrik Berggren hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Ola Fagrell, 71 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Mellbystrand's Stig-Ove Ivarsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Björn Utter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Per-Åke Ahlgren in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastian Löfgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 83rd play minutes Per-Åke Ahlgren shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Sebastian Löfgren and just under the crossbar into goal. Emanuel Kjellkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastian Löfgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Åke Ahlgren in the 89th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Mellbystrand's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Åke Ahlgren came free, but Sebastian Löfgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samuel Kielberg kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. In the 97th minute, Ulrik Berggren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Malcolm Nordstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Björn Utter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Borrby had won after a very even match.
