In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Staveström BK's goalkeeper Torsten Wållander, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Bajen's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Karl-Axel Pettersson was slow to take the kick. During this time Staveström BK's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Karl-Axel Pettersson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dan Delin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Karl-Axel Pettersson hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, FC Bajen's Bengt-Arne Linqvist tried to score from far away in the 78th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Bo Odeen struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Torsten Wållander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Bajen.
