Leif Zander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Johan Stenman in the 4th minute of the match. Indals IF's Kjell-Arne Ödmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Indals IF from getting a goal against them. Leif Zander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Johan Stenman in the 10th minute of play. David Cane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Kjell-Arne Ödmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kjell-Arne Ödmann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Östen Hök in the 17th minute. Henning Beneth struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Leif Zander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Indals IF. Indals IF's Kjell-Arne Ödmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Ove Enegren in the 23rd minute of play. Indals IF's Kjell-Arne Ödmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Indals IF from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Indals IF's zone, Sven-Ove Enegren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kjell-Arne Ödmann came out of the goal and Sven-Ove Enegren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Sven-Ove Enegren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karl-Johan Stenman to make the kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Johan Stenman couldn't finish the play. If Karl-Johan Stenman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Johan Stenman in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Leif Zander, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Kenny Skarkman hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the game, Per-Olof Olofsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Indals IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Johan Stenman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leif Zander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
