In the 12th match minute, Alnö IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sture Lundblad to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Alnö IFK's Inge Vallander got a free kick in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in BK Fläcken's zone, Edgar Hellkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Svensson came out of the goal and Edgar Hellkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 17 played minutes BK Fläcken got a freekick which was hit by John Sjöberg. In the 18th minute Edgar Hellkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Svensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eskil Falkrantz hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Kasper Asmundsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Åke Hylander in the 46th minute of play. Alnö IFK's Kasper Asmundsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Åke Hylander in the 48th minute of play.

The wind increased when Jan-Åke Hylander made the kick off in the second half. When Alnö IFK's Urban Melberg in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BK Fläcken's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Alnö IFK booed when BK Fläcken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eskil Falkrantz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Edgar Hellkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alnö IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgar Hellkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Svensson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. BK Fläcken's André Svensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urban Melberg in the 62nd minute of play. Tom Hammarberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urban Melberg had several of the BK Fläcken's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 68 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed André Svensson as he didn't even see the shot coming. Edgar Hellkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. André Svensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan-Åke Hylander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Tom Hammarberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jesper Lööf's late challenge caught a BK Fläcken's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jesper Lööf helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd minute, Tom Hammarberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BK Fläcken fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. André Svensson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgar Hellkvist in the 96th minute.
