An unexpectedly hard shot by Sverker Eklund in the 35th minute of play forced BK Fläcken's goalkeeper André Svensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. John Sjöberg charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed John Sjöberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. André Svensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sverker Eklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Tom Hammarberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aron Eckegren was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. André Svensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Olof Björklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Tom Hammarberg scored 2-0 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aron Eckegren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Tom Hammarberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tom Hammarberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. BK Fläcken's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sven-Olof Björklund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. A collision led to BK Fläcken getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Evert Jonsson hit a great ball. André Svensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sverker Eklund in the 93rd minute of the match. Gamleby RK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
