Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Yngve Öberg made the kick off and thus started the match. Sågmyra RK were furious when Wiktor Back was red carded, 6 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Johannes Söder shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 12th minute, Karl-Michael Granström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 13 minutes of play, Sågmyra RK's Nils Haglund made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sixten Östensson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fjärås's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Johannes Söder in the 22nd minute. The corner led to Fjärås's Peter Helander getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 24 minutes into the game, Kennet Jespersson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sågmyra RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fjärås the free kick. In the 24th match minute, Sågmyra RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kennet Jespersson to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Sågmyra RK's Jan-Erik Dalman got a free kick in the 27th minute. A hard shot by Johannes Söder from long distance, 28 minutes into the match, got Jan Nord's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Peter Helander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Jan Nord tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Per-Erik Hellbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Peter Helander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Calle Bryngelsson came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Fjärås fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Calle Bryngelsson couldn't finish the play. Sågmyra RK's Jan Nord played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calle Bryngelsson in the 43rd minute of play. Sågmyra RK's Nils Haglund got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Peter Helander stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Per-Erik Hellbom left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fjärås fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Peter Helander struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Jan Nord didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fjärås. If Per-Erik Hellbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 76 minutes, Peter Helander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fjärås's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter Helander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nils Haglund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Sixten Östensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kennet Jespersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jan Nord showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Erik Hellbom in the 85th minute of the match. Nils Haglund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
