Bruket BK's Marcus Bocklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Andersson in the 10th minute of play. If Hans Andersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hans Andersson scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcus Bocklund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hans Andersson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcus Bocklund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Rydaholm IF's Hans Andersson got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roland Hjortberg struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Marcus Bocklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rydaholm IF. After having played for 43 minutes, Hans Andersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rydaholm IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hans Andersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for John Kilström to strike the kick off in the second half. Marcus Bocklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Andersson in the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Andersson in the 54th minute of play forced Bruket BK's goalkeeper Marcus Bocklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hans Andersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Bocklund having to interfere. Hans Andersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. John Kilström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Holger Gunnarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mark Kielstedt fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bruket BK's protests and gave Mark Kielstedt a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Bruket BK getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Mark Kielstedt hit a great ball. Marcus Bocklund made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Roland Hjortberg sent off a good shot on target. When Mark Kielstedt was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 73 minutes had been played. In the 83rd minute Hans Andersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Bocklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcus Bocklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Andersson in the 86th minute of play. Emanuel Lind hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Roland Hjortberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Marcus Bocklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hans Andersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
