Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sumpans Slaktare's Harald Boman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Sumpans Slaktare getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Per-Erik Gallin hit a great ball. Harald Boman struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Folke Lindberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sumpans Slaktare. In the 17th minute, Elias Ekegren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Salo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Folke Lindberg. Mörsil IF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 20th match minute, Mörsil IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Åke Bank to maneuver through the defense. Ove Hellkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th minute, Elias Ekegren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gustaf Mikaelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torbjörn Hedling, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The supporters of Mörsil IF booed when Sumpans Slaktare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Erik Gallin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sumpans Slaktare's Harald Boman got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute there was a penalty for Sumpans Slaktare. Tommy Salo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Folke Lindberg. 0-2. The supporters of Sumpans Slaktare booed when Mörsil IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Fagrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustaf Mikaelsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torbjörn Hedling in the 42nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sumpans Slaktare's Per-Erik Gallin got a free kick in the 43rd minute. If Roger Fagrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Torbjörn Hedling to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Ove Hellkvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Folke Lindberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ove Hellkvist got free with Folke Lindberg in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Torbjörn Hedling might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustaf Mikaelsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Torbjörn Hedling ran back to his position shaking his head. Mörsil IF's Roger Fagrell got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Folke Lindberg made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Ove Hellkvist sent off a good shot on target. When Mörsil IF's Torbjörn Hedling in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sumpans Slaktare's goalie prevented a goal. If Ove Hellkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Folke Lindberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harald Boman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elias Ekegren's late challenge caught a Sumpans Slaktare's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elias Ekegren helped the player get up and apologised. If Ove Hellkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Folke Lindberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harald Boman, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Sumpans Slaktare's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
