Aaron Qvalfeldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aaron Qvalfeldt during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Södermanlands IF booed when Edsele IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Qvalfeldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jesper Engman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Klas Josefsson hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Jesper Engman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Inge Stephansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Arne Tolsson in the 32nd minute of play. Inge Stephansson came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Södermanlands IF's Jesper Engman. But to his dismay, Jesper Engman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Edsele IFK's Inge Stephansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Arne Tolsson in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Edsele IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Arne Tolsson came free, but Inge Stephansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edsele IFK's Inge Stephansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Arne Tolsson in the 43rd minute of play. Aaron Qvalfeldt kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sven-Arne Tolsson to make the kick off. Sven-Arne Tolsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Inge Stephansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Arne Tolsson in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Inge Stephansson saved Edsele IFK from getting behind. Inge Stephansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesper Engman in the 64th minute of play. After some careless play in the Edsele IFK defense, Jesper Engman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Inge Stephansson. The Edsele IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Inge Stephansson should have stopped the shot. Inge Stephansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Nordlund in the 75th minute of play. Jesper Engman struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Inge Stephansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Södermanlands IF. If Sven-Arne Tolsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the game, Södermanlands IF's Sven-Arne Tolsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Inge Stephansson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. If Sven-Arne Tolsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Sven-Arne Tolsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Inge Stephansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Arne Tolsson in the 97th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jesper Engman in the 99th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Inge Stephansson prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
