Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Falkenberg IK's Mikael Lång started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Falkenberg IK's Kåre Brun got a free kick in the 6th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Mikael Lång dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jan-Ove Häll, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kåre Brun in the 14th minute of play forced Våxtorp's goalkeeper Jan-Ove Häll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 15 minutes of play, Falkenberg IK's Elof Ingemarsson made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan-Ove Häll was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 18th minute, Karl Östlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Våxtorp's Jan-Ove Häll played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kåre Brun in the 23rd minute of play. Elof Ingemarsson came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jan-Ove Häll could save by the left post. If Elof Ingemarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th match minute, Falkenberg IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kåre Brun to maneuver through the defense. Jan-Ove Häll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikael Lång, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Max Lindell in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herman Myr prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Herman Myr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Kvick in the 46th minute of the match. Jan-Ove Häll was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Mikael Lång capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mikael Lång really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Max Lindell was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Mikael Lång notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Våxtorp's Jan-Ove Häll. Jan-Ove Häll was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mikael Lång struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. The supporters of Falkenberg IK booed when Våxtorp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orvar Thorsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Falkenberg IK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Våxtorp for a fine match.
