Sockerbagarna's Gunnar Käcker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingmar Nordmark in the 3rd minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Ingmar Nordmark dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gunnar Käcker, 1-0. Charlie Ingvall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Shankly´s Scouser Army's Charlie Ingvall sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gunnar Käcker narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 18thth minute of the game Joakim Haglund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Shankly´s Scouser Army's Corbett Plank was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Charlie Ingvall could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Gunnar Käcker made a huge save. 25 minutes into the match, Sockerbagarna's goal looked a bit too open when Magne Vikström came free, but Gunnar Käcker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gunnar Käcker didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 25th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. Gunnar Käcker made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Charlie Ingvall sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingmar Nordmark in the 31st minute of play forced Sockerbagarna's goalkeeper Gunnar Käcker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Magne Vikström fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gunnar Käcker, passed just outside the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Shankly´s Scouser Army's Magne Vikström slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gunnar Käcker. That made the score 4-0 after 32 minutes of play. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sockerbagarna's goalkeeper Gunnar Käcker, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 42 minutes, Krister Lange mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sockerbagarna and the Shankly´s Scouser Army players grew even worse after the yellow card. Krister Lange kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Shankly´s Scouser Army's Ingmar Nordmark got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gunnar Käcker made an important save on a dangerous shot by Charlie Ingvall in the 48th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joakim Haglund was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Egon Lindblom sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Corbett Plank skillfully saved the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Sockerbagarna's goal looked a bit too open when Charlie Ingvall came free, but Gunnar Käcker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute Ingmar Nordmark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Käcker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ingmar Nordmark struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Gunnar Käcker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shankly´s Scouser Army. Gunnar Käcker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingmar Nordmark in the 63rd minute of the match. Sockerbagarna's Gunnar Käcker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingmar Nordmark in the 65th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Ingemar Burman threw the ball into play from the sideline. Sockerbagarna's Krister Lange quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The audience was convinced that Joakim Haglund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Corbett Plank was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Vincent Rudkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 75th minute of the game, Sonny Bengtsson landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When David Vase fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sockerbagarna's protests and gave David Vase a yellow card for diving instead. In the 77th match minute, Sockerbagarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Vase to maneuver through the defense. Sockerbagarna's Gunnar Käcker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingmar Nordmark in the 78th minute of play. Krister Lange got his second yellow card in the match during the 78th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 79th minute, Krister Lange hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Ingmar Nordmark's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gunnar Käcker was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. 84 minutes into the match, Ingmar Nordmark notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Sockerbagarna's Gunnar Käcker. Gunnar Käcker was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gunnar Käcker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingmar Nordmark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Shankly´s Scouser Army's Ingemar Burman got a free kick in the 96th minute.
