After a defensive mix-up in Big Dick Bandits's zone, Per-Åke Waller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan-Erik Björklund came out of the goal and Per-Åke Waller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jan-Erik Björklund didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Virgin Steelers's Kevin Holmgren shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. The audience was convinced that Kevin Holmgren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan-Erik Björklund was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Marcus Eckegren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcus Eckegren was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Big Dick Bandits's Oscar Aspengren got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Virgin Steelers's Jan-Ove Ivarsson shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 56th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jan-Erik Björklund but with some difficulty. Oscar Aspengren hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Jan-Erik Björklund made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Per-Åke Waller sent off a good shot on target. If Marcus Eckegren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Virgin Steelers's zone, Marcus Eckegren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hjalmar Mårtensson came out of the goal and Marcus Eckegren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joar Smefeldt hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. When Kevin Holmgren fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Virgin Steelers's protests and gave Kevin Holmgren a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th match minute, Virgin Steelers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Holmgren to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Virgin Steelers's goalkeeper Hjalmar Mårtensson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Krister Sillén lost his temper 89 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 88th minute of the game. One of Virgin Steelers:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Big Dick Bandits:s goal. The excitement rose when Big Dick Bandits's Kent Billberg after 91 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Virgin Steelers's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 2-1. If Leif Wennerström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Big Dick Bandits players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
