Farsta FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charles Kock was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Charlie Martinsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charlie Martinsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute Lars-Erik Bammerman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Åke Duset saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Farsta FF's zone, Lars-Erik Bammerman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan-Åke Duset came out of the goal and Lars-Erik Bammerman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stig-Arne Sandberg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jan-Åke Duset firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orvar Willig in the 28th minute of play forced Farsta FF's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Duset to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Lars-Erik Bammerman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Farsta FF's Jan-Åke Duset proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Farsta FF from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Elfsborg's Lars-Erik Bammerman got a free kick in the 38th minute. When Lars-Erik Bammerman came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Elfsborg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars-Erik Bammerman couldn't finish the play. 42 minutes into the match, Farsta FF's goal looked a bit too open when Lars-Erik Bammerman came free, but Jan-Åke Duset reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charlie Martinsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 46 played minutes Farsta FF got a freekick which was hit by Charles Kock. Jan-Åke Duset made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Charlie Martinsson sent off a good shot on target.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Charles Kock made a kick off. Jan-Åke Duset showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars-Erik Bammerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Elfsborg's Lars-Erik Bammerman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan-Åke Duset narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 57 minutes, Lars-Erik Bammerman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After a defensive mix-up in Farsta FF's zone, Lars-Erik Bammerman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan-Åke Duset came out of the goal and Lars-Erik Bammerman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72ndth minute of the game Lars-Erik Bammerman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Farsta FF's Jan-Åke Duset was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Charlie Martinsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jan-Åke Duset showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars-Erik Bammerman in the 79th minute of the match. When Folke Spets fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Farsta FF's protests and gave Folke Spets a yellow card for diving instead. In the 82nd minute, Folke Spets hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute Elfsborg were awarded a corner. Jens-Ola Dahlberg went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Jens-Ola Dahlberg almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Farsta FF's Jan-Åke Duset did a great save. 88 minutes into the match, Charlie Martinsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan-Åke Duset. Farsta FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Charlie Martinsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 92 minutes into the game, Charles Kock recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Uno Harman. Charles Kock showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Jan-Åke Duset stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Charlie Martinsson's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. The Farsta FF players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Elfsborg from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
