After having played for 10 minutes, Charlie Martinsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elfsborg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charlie Martinsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ted Lindell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Uno Harman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Highland Bridge FC's Ted Lindell got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Orvar Willig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute, Elfsborg's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ronny Stolpe fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Sven-Erik Sjöman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charlie Martinsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Jens-Ola Dahlberg hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Highland Bridge FC's Konrad Törnqvist shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 31st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Uno Harman but with some difficulty. After having played for 32 minutes, Ronny Stolpe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uno Harman acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 35th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Konrad Blanck. Uno Harman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frans Sundén in the 37th minute of the match. Ronny Stolpe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Uno Harman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Elfsborg getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Orvar Willig hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ted Lindell to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Highland Bridge FC's Ted Lindell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Uno Harman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The audience was convinced that Ronny Stolpe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Uno Harman was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. In the 59th minute Ronny Stolpe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uno Harman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Elfsborg's goal looked a bit too open when Ronny Stolpe came free, but Uno Harman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute of the match Highland Bridge FC got a corner. Elfsborg's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Konrad Törnqvist ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Highland Bridge FC's Emanuel Hamberg getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When Ted Lindell came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Highland Bridge FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ted Lindell couldn't finish the play. Lars-Erik Bammerman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Sven-Erik Sjöman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronny Stolpe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uno Harman having to interfere. Lars-Erik Bammerman's late challenge caught a Highland Bridge FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lars-Erik Bammerman helped the player get up and apologised. Orvar Willig kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Ronny Stolpe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Uno Harman was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Charlie Martinsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elfsborg's supporters rose to their feet, but Charlie Martinsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Erik Sjöman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Highland Bridge FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
