Sundsta united's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edwin Tingberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sundsta united's zone, Lennart Lindholm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bror Hedkvist came out of the goal and Lennart Lindholm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gustav Erserman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fredrik Vester had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute Lennart Lindholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bror Hedkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bror Hedkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennart Lindholm in the 15th minute of play. Bror Hedkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lennart Lindholm in the 17th minute of the match. Bror Hedkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustav Erserman, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 22nd minute Lennart Lindholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bror Hedkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Skillingaryd's Gustav Erserman in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Lindholm in the 33rd minute of play forced Sundsta united's goalkeeper Bror Hedkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sundsta united's Bror Hedkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennart Lindholm in the 39th minute of play. Bror Hedkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustav Erserman, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. If Gustav Erserman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lennart Lindholm stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gustav Erserman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Bror Hedkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bror Hedkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lennart Lindholm in the 55th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Gustav Erserman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bror Hedkvist. Sundsta united's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustav Erserman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Fredrik Vester's late challenge caught a Sundsta united's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fredrik Vester helped the player get up and apologised. After 58 played minutes Skillingaryd got a freekick which was hit by Fredrik Vester. After 61 played minutes Sundsta united got a freekick which was hit by Edwin Tingberg. After 64 minutes Sundsta united's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Verner Hagström who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Skillingaryd's corner Verner Hagström fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bror Hedkvist quite easily take care of the ball. After 65 played minutes Sundsta united got a freekick which was hit by Edwin Tingberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Lindholm in the 66th minute of play forced Sundsta united's goalkeeper Bror Hedkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Sundsta united booed when Skillingaryd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fredrik Vester didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lennart Lindholm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Bror Hedkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sundsta united's Edwin Tingberg got a free kick in the 76th minute. Gustav Erserman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lennart Lindholm blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bror Hedkvist having to make a save. Bror Hedkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lennart Lindholm's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Gustav Erserman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Anthon Boklund fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sundsta united's protests and gave Anthon Boklund a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th minute, Anthon Boklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Skillingaryd played a much better game than Sundsta united and deserved their victory. The Sundsta united players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
