Kuggavik BK's Conny Martinsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Kuggavik BK from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, Corpus Christi FF's Conny Martinsson threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Stig Sandström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Stig Sandström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Staffan Vennerdal kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Patric Lindqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ingvar Vallin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peter Pettersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Harald Dalkvist went to the cornerflag to take it. Harald Dalkvist made a great header on Kuggavik BK's corner, it was just that Corpus Christi FF's Ingvar Vallin managed to reach the ball for a save. Conny Martinsson made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Rune Eliasson sent off a good shot on target. Conny Martinsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig Sandström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Kuggavik BK fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Kuggavik BK's Lars Söder looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lars Söder was the one to do the kick off. Ingvar Vallin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lars Söder's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Corpus Christi FF's Stig Sandström got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 57th minute, Lars Söder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Peter Pettersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lars Söder came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Kuggavik BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars Söder couldn't finish the play. In the 63rdth minute of the game Lars Söder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corpus Christi FF's Ingvar Vallin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Asklund in the 67th minute of play forced Kuggavik BK's goalkeeper Conny Martinsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Corpus Christi FF getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Casper Harlén hit a great ball. A hard shot by Harald Dalkvist from long distance, 70 minutes into the match, got Ingvar Vallin's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Peter Pettersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingvar Vallin having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Corpus Christi FF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Patric Lindqvist fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Kuggavik BK's Peter Pettersson got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tommy Asklund's late challenge caught a Kuggavik BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tommy Asklund helped the player get up and apologised. After 84 played minutes Corpus Christi FF got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Asklund. Patric Lindqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lars Söder in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ingvar Vallin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Corpus Christi FF's zone, Patric Lindqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ingvar Vallin came out of the goal and Patric Lindqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Corpus Christi FF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kuggavik BK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
