Spectators: 7343 (Terracing: 5509, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 145) Kuggavik BK's Lars Söder started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Patric Lindqvist who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of William Hamberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Kuggavik BK's Lars Söder got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Överlida RK's William Hamberg got control of the ball when Lars Söder tried to sneak it across the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Peter Pettersson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of William Hamberg, 2-0. In the 26th minute, Peter Pettersson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of William Hamberg. The goal made the score 3-0. Conny Martinsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Ove Bank in the 32nd minute of play. Lars Söder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute, Kuggavik BK's Svante Vase seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Svante Vase the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Kuggavik BK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Svante Vase had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kuggavik BK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 33rd minute. Penalty! Conny Martinsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mats Malmström in the 38th minute of the match. Lars Söders short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got William Hamberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Nicklas Strömberg fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Överlida RK's protests and gave Nicklas Strömberg a yellow card for diving instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Karl-Ove Bank made the kick off in the second half. William Hamberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lars Söder's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Kuggavik BK's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Ove Bank came free, but Conny Martinsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Conny Martinsson came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Överlida RK's Karl-Ove Bank. But to his dismay, Karl-Ove Bank quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Peter Pettersson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kuggavik BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Pettersson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. William Hamberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karl-Ove Bank received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Conny Martinsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Karl-Ove Bank slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 68th minute. Kuggavik BK's Conny Martinsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Kuggavik BK from getting a goal against them. In the 72nd minute, Harald Dalkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute Peter Pettersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Hamberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. William Hamberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Pettersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Mats Malmström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rdth minute of the game Lars Söder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Överlida RK's William Hamberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
