Spectators: 7235 (Terracing: 5428, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 143) Sundsta united's Edwin Tingberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bror Hedkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Bolin in the 3rd minute of the match. Edwin Tingberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hugo Möller. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edwin Tingberg ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 9th minute, Jörn Runberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MJklub fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jörn Runberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Bror Hedkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jörn Runberg struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Bror Hedkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MJklub. In the 17th minute, Allan Widberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bror Hedkvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Jörn Runberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Bror Hedkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edwin Tingberg hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Bror Hedkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Widberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25 played minutes MJklub got a freekick which was hit by Gunnar Bolin. Allan Widberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bror Hedkvist having to interfere. Bror Hedkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Widberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Allan Widberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 38 played minutes Sundsta united got a freekick which was hit by Anthon Boklund. Bror Hedkvist came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by MJklub's Jörn Runberg. But to his dismay, Jörn Runberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Gunnar Bolin took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bror Hedkvist. Bror Hedkvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Allan Widberg to make the kick off. In the 60th minute, Jörn Runberg fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bror Hedkvist, passed just outside the right post. Jörn Runberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bror Hedkvist having to interfere. In the 72nd minute Allan Widberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bror Hedkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jörn Runberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bror Hedkvist having to interfere. In the 75th minute of the game, Gunnar Bolin landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edwin Tingberg during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 76th match minute, Sundsta united was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edwin Tingberg to maneuver through the defense. 77 minutes into the match, MJklub's Jörn Runberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bror Hedkvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jörn Runberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 93 minutes, Jörn Runberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MJklub's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jörn Runberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adrian Svensson's late challenge caught a Sundsta united's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrian Svensson helped the player get up and apologised. After 97 played minutes MJklub got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Svensson. The Sundsta united fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. MJklub were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
