Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Nils Salqvist successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Nils Salqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magnus Jönsson in the 7th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ove Wik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bengt-Rune Joensson was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Magnus Jönsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bengt-Rune Joensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Ahlroth, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamin Ahlroth in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bengt-Rune Joensson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stockholm City FC's Bengt-Rune Joensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Wik in the 36th minute of play. Nils Salqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magnus Jönsson in the 39th minute of the match. Christoffer Wallman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Nils Salqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Magnus Jönsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Magnus Jönsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Christoffer Wallman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Salqvist having to interfere. In the 57th minute of the match Gösta Vik sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nils Salqvist skillfully saved the ball. Christoffer Wallman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Liverpool B defense, Magnus Jönsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nils Salqvist. The Liverpool B fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nils Salqvist should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Stockholm City FC's Christoffer Wallman got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Jan-Åke Burman kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. When Magnus Jönsson came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Stockholm City FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Magnus Jönsson couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Magnus Jönsson in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nils Salqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Christoffer Wallman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. In the 93rd minute, Magnus Jönsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Liverpool B's Ingvar Ånger got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute, Christoffer Wallman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
