The referee gave Boden IFK a penalty, 14 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Konrad Ekrot, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Partille's Lennart Andersson. 1-1. Kåre Skröder charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kåre Skröder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th minute, Kåre Skröder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Roy Vollander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boden IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Roy Vollander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lennart Andersson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nils-Åke Lidberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Lennart Andersson managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Boden IFK's Stig-Åke Emander fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Roy Vollander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lennart Andersson having to interfere. After having played for 34 minutes, Stig-Åke Emander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boden IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig-Åke Emander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 48 minutes into the game, Roy Vollander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boden IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Partille the free kick. In the 48th minute, Roy Vollander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Nils-Åke Lidberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Åke Törnkvist having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Boden IFK's zone, Christian Holmberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan-Åke Törnkvist came out of the goal and Christian Holmberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stig-Åke Emander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lennart Andersson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Johannes Rang might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan-Åke Törnkvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Johannes Rang ran back to his position shaking his head. Christian Holmberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jan-Åke Törnkvist having to make a save. In the 68th minute, Rickard Sellberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nils-Åke Lidberg in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan-Åke Törnkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Christian Holmberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of FC Partille booed when Boden IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eskil Wallander didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Partille's Alex Eckegren couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 78th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Boden IFK. 81 minutes into the match, FC Partille's Nils-Åke Lidberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan-Åke Törnkvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Stig-Åke Emander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lennart Andersson having to interfere. Rickard Sellberg hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match.
