Leo Strömbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Erik Sigman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filip Qvalfeldt got free with Leo Strömbom in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute, Valdemar Julin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rune Aleberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Åke Petersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Per-Åke Petersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Rune Aleberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Per-Åke Petersson made the kick off in the second half. When Vidar Samuelsson, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 53 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Rune Aleberg was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After having played for 55 minutes, Vidar Samuelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sikfors FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vidar Samuelsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rune Aleberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vidar Samuelsson in the 58th minute of play. Kan ja löve BK's players were relieved. 61 minutes into the match, Sikfors FK's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Qvalfeldt came free, but Leo Strömbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Börje Brandt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kan ja löve BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Börje Brandt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leo Strömbom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vidar Samuelsson in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rune Aleberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 66 minutes into the match, Filip Qvalfeldt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leo Strömbom. Sikfors FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filip Qvalfeldt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 69th minute, Rudolf Sandström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kan ja löve BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Vidar Samuelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Rune Aleberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vidar Samuelsson in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rune Aleberg saved Kan ja löve BK from getting behind. Sikfors FK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vidar Samuelsson in the 81st minute. The corner led Sikfors FK's Mathias Lövgren to a score. 2-1 in the 82nd minute. After 90 minutes, Frank Mårtensson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kan ja löve BK and the Sikfors FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Kan ja löve BK getting a freekick after 90 minutes play.
