Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Inge Bäckström kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Limmared's zone, Inge Bäckström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henning Fagrell came out of the goal and Inge Bäckström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 18 minutes into the match, Limmared's goal looked a bit too open when Inge Bäckström came free, but Henning Fagrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Rutger Skålberg came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Limmared fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rutger Skålberg couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rutger Skålberg in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Magnus Rolandsson saved Valdemarsvik from getting behind. In the 24th minute, Valdemarsvik's Inge Bäckström ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Henning Fagrell. Henning Fagrell yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 27th minute, one of Limmared:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Limmared. Bo-Erik Gummeson took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henning Fagrell. Henning Fagrell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. If Ola Biörkman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Limmared booed when Valdemarsvik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Carlsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ola Biörkman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40thth minute of the game Ola Biörkman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Valdemarsvik's Karl-Magnus Rolandsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 44th play minute Anton Påk came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Henning Fagrell. 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ola Biörkman to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inge Bäckström in the 53rd minute of play forced Limmared's goalkeeper Henning Fagrell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ola Biörkman got free with Karl-Magnus Rolandsson in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Valdemarsvik's goalkeeper Karl-Magnus Rolandsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ola Biörkman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Magnus Rolandsson having to interfere. Dan Bock kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After 63 played minutes, Valdemarsvik's Bo-Erik Gummeson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Henning Fagrell came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Valdemarsvik reached it.
