Henning Fagrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Magnusson in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Rickard Gustafsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Limmared's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jimmies Soldater the free kick. In the 21st match minute, Limmared was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rickard Gustafsson to maneuver through the defense. If Ola Biörkman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ola Biörkman in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stig Andberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 33 minutes of play, Limmared's Rickard Gustafsson made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stig Andberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 39th minute, Michael Hultin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stig Andberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After a rather tough play, Jimmies Soldater's Thomas Magnusson got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thomas Magnusson to make the kick off. In the 56th minute Thomas Magnusson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henning Fagrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, Ola Biörkman lined in a short shot 0-4 behind a frustrated Stig Andberg. Ola Biörkman struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Stig Andberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Rutger Skålberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig Andberg having to interfere. Stig Andberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ola Biörkman's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Thomas Magnusson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Henning Fagrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ola Biörkman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jimmies Soldater's Stig Andberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Jimmies Soldater from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded Limmared left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Jimmies Soldater.
