Robert Lagerberg was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 12th minute. Säve's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olof Westerstrand in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kalle Johnsson saved Syrianska FC from getting behind. If Olof Westerstrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Robert Lagerberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Säve fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Robert Lagerberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kalle Johnsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robert Lagerberg ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Robert Lagerberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Säve's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Lagerberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kalle Johnsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kalle Johnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olof Westerstrand in the 39th minute of the match. Robert Lagerberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Kalle Johnsson made a huge save.

The wind increased when Olof Westerstrand made the kick off in the second half. Simon Hedling took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kalle Johnsson. Syrianska FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 56th minute, Olof Westerstrand got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olof Westerstrand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Kalle Johnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Olof Westerstrand made a precise shot to the right of Kalle Johnsson. Syrianska FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Robert Lagerberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kalle Johnsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Robert Lagerberg notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Syrianska FC's Kalle Johnsson. Kalle Johnsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Säve's Olof Westerstrand got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kalle Johnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Lagerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Kalle Johnsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olof Westerstrand in the 90th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hans Hedbom during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some careless play in the Syrianska FC defense, Olof Westerstrand kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kalle Johnsson. The Syrianska FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kalle Johnsson should have stopped the shot. Säve's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
