Dag Hellström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kaj Wik came out and tried to block the shot, but Dag Hellström slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 54th minute. If Sören Johansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Börge Nordström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilhelm Törnkvist went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The Falkens FF support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
