Spectators: 7232 (Terracing: 5426, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Harry Söder kicked off to start the match. Henrik Uggla hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. If Harry Söder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andreas Hagström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christer Tidéksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, Christer Tidéksson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andreas Hagström. Unnaryd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christer Tidéksson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Christer Tidéksson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andreas Hagström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 28th minute Christer Tidéksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Hagström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bro's Peder Bållström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harry Söder in the 32nd minute of play. Andreas Hagström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddie Edström in the 35th minute of play. When Christer Tidéksson came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Bro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christer Tidéksson couldn't finish the play. If Christer Tidéksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Malcolm Ekerot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 0-3 came in the 43rd minute when Henrik Uggla all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Andreas Hagström.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christer Tidéksson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Krister Olsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 53 played minutes Bro got a freekick which was hit by Vilhelm Ekström. Christer Tidéksson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Bro's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Söder came free, but Peder Bållström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christer Tidéksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Andreas Hagström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the game, Harry Skräddare cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Peder Bållström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Unnaryd's Andreas Hagström got control of the ball when Freddie Edström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Christer Tidéksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Hagström having to interfere. A hard shot 88 in the game by Freddie Edström from a close distance when the talented Andreas Hagström managed to make a qualified save. Unnaryd's players were relieved. After having played for 96 minutes, Freddie Edström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freddie Edström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 97th minute, Bengt Wallin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bro eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
